Video Production Company in Karachi
ObtainTek is a video production company in Karachi for corporate, product and social media videos. Each one is planned from the screen it will play on, because a video framed only for a wide screen loses heads and products when cropped for a phone.

What video production covers
Working with a video production company in Karachi
Good video starts from where it will run. The channel decides the shape, the length and how fast the first two seconds have to work. The format list is agreed before filming, so the camera leaves room for every crop and one shoot can feed the website, YouTube and the phone-first platforms.
Video sits in our branding services because it uses everything else: your logo, colors, fonts and tone. If those are not settled yet, a brand identity project first saves re-edits later.

Why planning comes first
What a plan saves before the camera rolls
Every crop works
Framing for wide and vertical at the same time keeps heads, hands and products inside the shot on every screen.
Fewer edit rounds
One decision maker and a locked script cut the back-and-forth. Five reviewers with separate notes means five rounds.
No refilming
Signed releases, ready locations and a brief that does not change after the shoot are what keep a project to one shoot.
Watch for these
Six things that delay a video
Most delays have nothing to do with the camera. If the video will run as paid ads, plan it with your Meta Ads or social media marketing team so the hook, length and call to action match the campaign.
Scripts approved late
Filming cannot be booked until the words are agreed.
Feedback from many people
Separate notes from several reviewers multiply the edit rounds. Pick one person to collect and decide.
Locations not ready
An office mid-renovation or a factory floor that cannot pause costs a shoot day.
Missing permissions
Staff and clients on camera should sign a release before filming, not after.
A changing brief
Adding a new audience or channel after the shoot can mean filming again.
Poor sound
Viewers forgive soft footage before muddy audio. Speech needs its own microphone, not only the camera's.
Formats

Video Production: common questions
How much does video production cost in Karachi?
It depends on length, number of shoot days, locations, people on camera, and how much editing, animation and voice-over is involved. A short phone-friendly social clip and a multi-location corporate film are very different budgets. We do not publish prices; send your brief for a quote.
How long does a corporate video take?
Most of the time goes into planning and editing, not filming. Shoot days are usually few. The edit takes longest, and it moves fastest when one person on your side gives consolidated feedback. We confirm the timeline when we scope your project.
Do you shoot on location?
We agree locations, crew and shoot days when we scope your project. You can send your own photos and clips, or we can arrange filming as part of the quote.
Can you make videos for clients outside Pakistan?
We serve clients in Pakistan, the US and the UAE. Karachi runs on PKT (UTC+5), one hour ahead of Dubai and 9 to 10 hours ahead of New York. For filming abroad, the usual options are footage captured locally to a shot list, or a local crew. We agree the approach with you when we scope the project.
Which formats and sizes do I get?
The list is best agreed before the shoot. A typical set is a 16:9 master for the website and YouTube, a 9:16 vertical version for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, a square or 4:5 cut for feeds and ads, and short cut-downs for advertising, each with captions. Caption languages are agreed in your quote.
Do I need a script?
Every video needs a plan. Interviews and testimonials need a question list rather than a script. Explainers and ads need a written script and a shot list, because the edit depends on them. Script writing can be included in your quote.
