This policy explains what personal data ObtainTek collects through www.obtaintek.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
This website is run by ObtainTek, a single-member company registered in Pakistan, with its office in Karachi, Pakistan. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean ObtainTek. You can reach us at obtaintek@gmail.com.
What we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us, plus limited technical data needed to run the website.
- Contact and quote forms: your name, email address, and, if you provide them, your phone number, company or website, the service you are interested in, any other project details you enter and your message.
- Email, phone: whatever you include when you contact us directly, such as your name, number, email address and the content of your message.
- Job applications: the CV, links and details you email to us.
- Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider receives standard request data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. It is used to deliver the site and keep it secure.
We do not ask for payment card details on this website.
How our forms are processed
Our contact and quote forms are processed by Web3Forms, a third-party form service. When you submit a form, the details you entered are sent to Web3Forms, which forwards them to us by email. Web3Forms handles that data under its own privacy policy. The forms include a hidden spam check; it does not collect anything extra about you.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add cookie-based analytics, such as Google Analytics, we will update this section first.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies, and it doesn't track you across other websites. For each visit it records the page, the referring site, and your country, browser, operating system and device type. Visitors are counted without storing your IP address. Vercel, our hosting provider, processes this data under its own privacy policy.
We do not use advertising or retargeting pixels on this website. Our cookie policy has the details.
How we use your data
- To reply to your message or quote request and prepare a proposal.
- To deliver and manage work if you become a client.
- To consider your application if you send us your CV.
- To keep the website working and secure, and to understand how it is used.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the website and our business, such as:
- Web3Forms (form processing)
- Vercel (website hosting and page-view analytics)
- our email provider
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute. We do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry messages for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of our conversation. If you become a client, we keep project and billing records for as long as needed for the work and for legal and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete an inquiry or a CV at any time.
How we protect it
The website is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection. We limit access to inquiries to what is needed to reply. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share.
Your choices
You can email us at any time to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you
- correct data that is wrong
- ask us to delete your data, where we don't need to keep it for legal reasons
- object to us using your data, or withdraw a consent you gave

Children
This website is meant for businesses. It is not aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
International transfers
We are based in Pakistan and work with clients in other countries. Our service providers may store or process data outside your country. By sending us information, you understand that it may be handled in Pakistan and in the countries where those providers operate.
Updates to this policy
When our website or the services behind it change, this policy changes with them. The date at the top shows the latest version.
