Schema markup generator (JSON-LD)

Create structured data for your business, FAQs, products or articles, ready to paste into your website.

Runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us or stored.

How to use it

  1. 01

    Pick a type

Local business for a shop or office, FAQ for a questions section, Product for a product page, and so on.

  2. 02

    Fill in what's true

Only add details that are also visible on the page. Leave the rest empty; empty fields are left out.

  3. 03

    Paste and test

Copy the code into the page's <head> (or your SEO plugin's schema field), then run Google's Rich Results Test.

Rules that keep schema helpful, not harmful

  • Mark up what's on the page: every FAQ, price or rating in your schema must be visible to visitors on that page.
  • Keep it the same everywhere: your business name, address and phone should match your website footer and Google Business Profile exactly.
  • No fake reviews: only add ratings that real customers left, and only where they're shown.
  • Test after every change: Google's Rich Results Test shows errors and warnings in seconds.

Questions about this tool

What is schema markup?

Structured data that describes your page to search engines in a standard format (schema.org). It can help Google understand your business, products or FAQs, and makes some pages eligible for richer results.

Does schema guarantee rich results in Google?

No. It makes a page eligible, but Google decides what to show. The markup must also match what visitors can see on the page.

Where do I paste the code?

Inside the page's <head>, or in the schema or custom code field of your SEO plugin or website builder. One block per type is enough.

Which type should a local business use?

Local business, with your exact name, address, phone and opening hours as they appear on your Google Business Profile and website.
