What are Open Graph tags?
Tags that tell Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and others what title, description and image to show when someone shares your link. Without them, the platform guesses, often badly.
What size should the share image be?
1200 × 630 pixels works well across Facebook, LinkedIn and WhatsApp. Keep important text away from the edges, as some apps crop it.
I use WordPress, Shopify or Wix. Do I need this code?
Usually not: those platforms (or an SEO plugin like Yoast or Rank Math) have fields for the title, description and share image. Use this tool to write and preview the values, then copy them into those fields.
Why isn't my new image showing on Facebook?
Facebook caches link previews. After changing the tags, use Meta's Sharing Debugger and click "Scrape again".
