Questions about this tool
How is engagement rate calculated?
Add up likes, comments, shares and saves, divide by followers (or by reach), and multiply by 100. For several posts, use the average per post.
By followers or by reach: which is better?
By reach is fairer to your content, because it only counts people who saw the post. By followers is what people use to compare accounts publicly, because anyone can see follower counts.
What's a good engagement rate?
It varies a lot by platform, account size and industry, and published averages change often. The most useful comparison is your own: aim to beat your average from last month.
Where do I find saves and reach?
In Instagram, open a post and tap View insights. On Facebook and TikTok, use the post's insights or analytics. Saves and reach are visible only to the account owner.
