Questions about this tool

Are these the official sizes?

They're the commonly used upload sizes that work well on each platform. Platforms change their layouts from time to time, so check the platform's own help page before a big campaign.

Why use 4:5 portrait on Instagram?

A 1080 × 1350 portrait post takes up more of the screen in the feed than a square one, so it's harder to scroll past.

What's the difference between crop and fit?

Crop fills the whole shape and trims the edges that don't fit. Fit keeps the whole image and fills the empty space with a colour, which is better for logos and text-heavy designs.

Is my image uploaded?

No. Resizing happens in your browser.
