Questions about this tool
Will resizing make my photo blurry?
Making a photo smaller keeps it sharp. Making it bigger than the original can't add detail, so it may look soft.
What size should website images be?
About the width they're shown at, times two for sharp phone screens. A full-width banner is often around 1920 pixels wide; a photo in a column, 800 to 1200.
Can I resize to a file size in KB?
Use our image compressor for that. It shrinks a photo to a target like 100 KB.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Resizing happens in your browser.
