Write for people first, then check
Repeating a keyword over and over doesn't help a page rank; it makes it harder to read. Use this checker as a final pass:
- Your main topic should be obvious: the top 2- and 3-word phrases should describe what the page is about.
- Nothing should feel forced: if one phrase is far ahead of everything else, read those sentences aloud and rewrite the clumsy ones.
- Cover the topic, not just the word: related terms (prices, types, how it works) usually help more than repeats.

What is keyword density?
The number of times a word or phrase appears, as a share of all the words in the text. 10 uses in 500 words is 2%.
What is a good keyword density?
There is no magic number, and Google doesn't use one. Use your main keyword where it reads naturally: in the title, the first paragraph and a heading or two. If a phrase stands out in this table and sounds forced when read aloud, cut it back.
Why are words like "the" and "and" missing?
Common filler words are hidden by default so the table shows words that carry meaning. Untick "Hide common words" to include them.
